Lecture meeting of the Estonian Folklore Society
At 16:15 on Wednesday, February 22 the lecture meeting of the Estonian Folklore Society is held in the main hall of the Estonian Literary Museum (Vanemuise 42).
The event’s programme includes Asta Õim’s presentation on equivalence of phraseologisms, or the stereotypicality of phraseologisms. Arvo Krikmann discusses the origin and authenticity of texts in the manuscript of proverbs and phrases by Kreutzwald (Estonian Cultural History Archives, f. 63, m. 4:23).
The meeting is dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Ingrid Sarv (Febr. 24, 1931 – March 6, 2003).
