The Folklore Prize of the President of Estonia in 2004
At noon on Saturday, February 19, 2005 in Tartu, Arnold Rüütel, President of the Republic of Estonia, will hand over the President's Folklore Prize to the best folklore collectors of 2004. According to the folklore material contributed to the Estonian Folklore Archives, the Folklore Prize Laureates of 2004 are Helgi Suluste, a former schoolteacher from Tartu, and Merlin Lõiv, student of the University of Tartu. On the festive award ceremony in the main hall of the Estonian Literary Museum, other good folklore collectors will be recognised. The event will conclude with a concert by folk group "Kiritöö"
