The 2004 Baltic Assembly Prize Winner in Science is Academician Arvo Krikmann
The Estonian Academy of Sciences was informed that this year's Baltic Assembly Prize in Science was awarded to academician Arvo Krikmann for his work Kaasaegse metafoori teooria panus vanasõnade uurimisse ['Contribution of Modern Metaphor Theory in Paremiology '] and the theoretical conception dealing with development trends in Metaphor Theory.
The prize will be awarded to Arvo Krikmann, the leading Estonian folklorist, at the official award ceremony of the Baltic Assembly on December 17, 2004.
