Mäetagused 29

This special issue of Mäetagused is dedicated to art and includes articles about the creative work of Kaljo Põllu, ethnographic drawings, as well as pop art reflecting everyday life and the unique creation of naïve artists, the ethnic art of Indians and in Africa. Maanus Mikkel and Jüri Arrak allow a peek into the artist’s creative world. The News section gives an overview of scholarly events and degree defences in the field and published book reviews. The guest editor of the issue is Kadri Viires, a celebrated Estonian textile artist and organizer of Finno-Ugric fieldwork expeditions.
